So yesterday I headed off to Long Street not knowing what to expect…
All I had heard was that ‘loads’ of skaters were going to gather and skate down Long Street. I just went along to get some pics and join in the fun.
Man alive, was that all an understatement… longboarders, bmx’s, dogs, families, skaters, strollers… the whole whizz bang toot showed up and before I knew it we were all just mass starting from the top of Long Street!
Absolute carnage and laughter followed as the troops mauled down the street. Nothing could come past as 100 plus skaters bombed it. Chaos.
I was so excited I didn’t know what to shoot and I also felt pretty dodge skating and shooting at the same time, but managed to get a few crackers from the day.
Thanks to everyone who made it such a rad time and to the organisers for all the effort! So amped for the next one!
