Thank you JJ van Rooyen for taking these great photos. Congratulations to the top 3 advanced skateboarders at the competition:
]]>We even had time for a little skimboarding contest!
Thank you to the CS team who organised this amazing weekend. You guys are awesome!
Myself, Stuart Rothon (CS Cape Town) and Devin Nyschens (CS Mpumulanga) worked hard in helping the team set up the ramps for the competition.
Together with Reghert van Zyl from Aleph Surf we represented South Africa at the training. Other countries that were represented included Kenya, Tanzania, Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone and locals from Ghana.
We rented a house with space for 18 people and we all stayed together during the weekend of the training.
Sport ministry coaches from Sierra Leone, Ghana, South Africa and Kenya:
We also did skimboarding outreaches in Keta and Accra, Ghana.
Many children got saved and Raphael from Accra started a weekly skim club. He will also help locals to make their own skimboards.
On the Saturday we did the skateboard and rollerblade competition and outreach for the skate community in Accra.
]]>We had such a rad time and managed to do 9 best trick comps in just 13 days! It was a privilege to have done all the events with these guys. They serve the skate industry but firstly God. I am proud to call them friends.
Each stop had its own flavour and it was an all round unforgettable experience.
Thanks to all the locals who came out to each best trick event. You guys made it happen and it was great to meet new, awesome people.
And a super big thanks to Louis Mans who hosted us in Bloem, to Daniel Mcbride and his family who hosted us in Durban and to Frank Joubert who hosted us in Pretoria. These are people with big hearts and we pray that God will multiply what they have sown.
]]>We held a best trick comp at the CS Bowl and the Element park.
These comps will run annually over the CS Camp weekend.
At the end of the CS Camp, Ruan from Nelspruit (on the right below) decided that he wanted to be baptized. It was a very special moment.
]]>These ramps were still stationed in Franschoek before moving it and it was quite a mission to get it on the trailer and take it through to Cape Town. Please let me know if you would like to help us get the other ramps to the I2B Somerset West park (this is the old Knysna skatepark that has been donated to I2B. Thanks so much to Marc Kent.)
Thanks to Bruce, Josh, Connor, Godfrey, Max, Zemke, Gareth, Dylan and CS Cape Town for helping us to move, setup and set-down the ramps.
We were so honored to have Gareth and Dylan from Nelspruit join us at the event. Gareth has been in charge of CS Mphumalanga and runs Gsk8t. His total commitment to the Lord is evident to everyone who meets him.
It was great to also have the opportunity to share the CS vision with some leaders.
The best part of the day was to have a national CS gathering/RadTalk and to pray together for UltimateX and CS.

We took members from our I2B Kleinvlei club with to compete.
Members of the church entertained the crowd with some solid Christian rap. Pastor Harold shared a message and gave the people an opportunity to commit their lives to Christ. The response was great!
Congratulations to everyone who placed and competed. We are very proud of you guys! Thanks to Pastor Harold for reaching out, caring and loving people. Below is Pastor Harold and I, with the top 3 amateur rollerbladers.
