    The sun was out and gave us the perfect weather for the Jesus Triple Tier Event held in Jbay at Element Skate park. Everyone had a good time with the triple tier format. 3 obstacles, with a score out of 10 per obstacle and your three scores added together to give you a total and a winner. ALL PHOTOS BY CLINTON THERON – THANKS!!!

    Damon de Clercq claiming 1st, Nathan Falconer 2nd and Dylan Du Preez 3rd.

    A big thanks to Christian Skaters Son Skate for running the event and giving the cash prizes and board and to Mexican dog for product and Element for letting us use their park!

    Red Bull Manny Mania

    “Fancy getting involved in the largest amateur skating competition of its kind in South Africa? Now’s your chance to have a crack at Red Bull Manny Mania 2011. Register for free by sending an email to Manny Mania registration then head down to Element Skate Park in Jeffreys Bay on Saturday, June 11 at 12pm. And who knows, you could end up skating against the pros in New York City this August.”

    Come Celebrate Youth Day at the Element Skate Park on June 16

    On Thursday, June 16, we will be having a Youth Day celebration and skate contest in the Element Skate Park in Jeffreys Bay.

    Come join the crew from Element, in association with Skullcandy & Maloof Skateboarding for a day of fun. All contestants will receive an Element/Skullcandy/Maloof goody bag on entry. As is the tradition with Element events, entry will be FREE, and entry is open to all. This year, we will also be having a Youth Day BBQ and will be dishing out complimentary Boerie Rolls!

    Kick-off will be at 10am and we have the following planned:

    – 10:00am Registration & Goody Bag handout
    – 10:30am Best Trick: FunBox
    – 11:00am Best Trick: Ledges
    – 11:30am Best Trick: Game of Skate
    – 12:00am BBQ & Prize Giving

    We’ll have music on the Day, as well as random product tosses, so bring your mates!
