    How hard do you have to fall and hit rock bottom before you make the decision to stop doing whatever it is that’s satisfying you on the outside, but killing you on the inside?

    Christian Hosoi, an All-American professional skateboarder, lived by the creed, “Skate and destroy.” while he found his calling in skating at an early age, he also found himself in the midst of destruction. “I was trying to destroy myself” because I was searching for love in money, fame and girls. None of it satisfied me.”

    Hosoi had fame. He had money. He had it all but it was all taken. It took him losing it all to realize that freedom wasn’t in material possessions. It had nothing to do with the cares of this world. He realized who and where freedom really was: in Christ.

  4. On the Rocks

    After 2 years of planning, filming and editing we are proud to announce that the On the Rocks series will be launching at the International Conference in August!

    About On the Rocks:

    A video series that portrays the gospel in a culturally relevant way to surfers. Through a combination of stories and scripture, the messages are presented by a dynamic speaker, ‘Terran Williams’ from a surfer to surfers, with a great visual impact. They end up leaving the viewer with some challenging thoughts about where they are at with Christ.

    In this highlights clip we have add together a few of the scene snippets from the production.

    Christian Skaters seeks out those who are called to reach skaters. We have a growing database of skate ministries around the world, and act as a networking resource within skate ministry to better equip the body. We have been blessed with partners and chapters, including home based Bible studies to reach many areas around the world and currently team up with over 90 countries around the world.

    Christian Skaters wants to become less so that He may become more (John 3:30). Our monthly news, MySpace site, demos, etc. feature skate ministries from around the globe. Our vision is for every skater to have a ministry in their area. By creating a network, we are able to connect skaters with other churches and ministries who also want to meet skaters where they are at.
